Maybe I jumped the gun with my hatred for fake blogs. The Techcrunch spoof CrunchFood is pretty damn funny.

Well, my sources just moments ago filled me on a new fruit, the banana, that has all the killer features other fruits have been lacking, and which I’ve been calling for for some time now.

• Adopt a flying squirrel. No joke here, literally…adopt a flying squirrel.
• Pave Route 9. Saw this on a flashing highway sign on my commute this morning. I dig this idea a bit, since there have been many times over the years when I would wonder WTF various construction crews were doing, aside from messing up my commute. There is also something funny about the “under construction” text all over a site dedicated to providing information on a construction project. Like real world, like web I suppose.
• Booth babes. A staple of online-ad trade shows, and of probably a lot of other trade shows for various industries. Some solid entries from last week’s ADTech show. The CPX girls were literally stopping traffic in the aisles at the show, so they have to win this.
• A random map of a magical world representing social networks? Well, why the hell not? You got it!
• Backups. Backups.
