Some awesome storms ripped through the Boston suburbs this afternoon. Hail, sheets of rain, lightning, some serious wind, and as a result…trees down all over. This one just missed. I was honestly hoping for it to total the thing. It’s on it’s last legs anyways.

Hey, look everyone! It’s MySpace’s own layout tool! What’s that sound you ask? It is the giant collective whimper….wait for it…turning into a full out sobbing sound coming from the big players in the MySpace profile tool arena! Sorry guys, game over!
Here is a tip to all of you clowns out there that continue to develop businesses that are dependent on MySpace to survive (not that can plug into MySpace, but that depend on MySpace):
You live and die at the whim of MySpace, so don’t get too comfortable.
One line of code changed, one snippet blocked, or one person over at MySpace decides that it is worth a day’s programming work to build something like a profile editor, and you and your silly site are rendered useless. Back to bagging groceries!
Saw this on Universal Hub, and realized it wasn’t just my neighborhood that has completely frozen over sides streets. This morning’s roads in the inner regions of Brighton were completely and totally untouched by plow, sand, or salt, leaving a carnival of bewildered twenty somethings attempting to free their cars with pick axe’s, only to spin helplessly in the frozen ice/snow piles that encased their wheels. Good times.
If this was our first “major” storm of the season, shouldn’t we have an ass-pant-load of snow removal budget surplus to…ya know…clean up the snow?
Holy god, this is it. We are all going to die. It’s over.
