Blackberry Curve In Hand

Tue, Oct 2, 2007

Miscellaneous

After blood, sweat, and tears all shed haggling the price of the Blackberry Curve down to $249 through T-Mobile (as an existing customer…not a new one…thank you very much!), I now have it in hand.

It is one sexy little device.

Much slimmer and sleeker than my 8700, and with camera, video capabilities, wi-fi, and some other fun little bells and whistles. Still getting used to moving to the trackball from the scroll wheel, but so far so good.

What I am exited to have again, is the camera. I never thought when I moved from the Treo 600 (with camera) to the Blackberry 8700 (without camera) that I would miss it, but I did. I also love snapping photos and uploading them to Flickr seconds later, right from my phone. So now you can see things like the turkey sandwich I had from Trescas for lunch. Riveting stuff. The internet is awesome!

Anyways, it’s a great little phone and I look forward to using it for a couple of months until RIM comes out with some other device that renders this one uncool.

And if you like the turkey sandwich photo (’cause I know ya do!), keep track of my cell phone photo activity in this little stream.
