This is as pathetic as it gets. Oriole fans begging other Oriole fans to go to Oriole games. Unreal right? I mean who knew there were actual Oriole fans out there? Not me! ANYWAYS, this post is pretty hilarious. My favorite line by far is:
Sox and Yanks fans suck in untold ways, but can you really blame them? They live in and around crappy cities (yes, that’s right) and their teams play home games at outdated stadiums. Why wouldn’t they want to go see those teams a few hours down the road in a beautiful stadium and a beautiful city…
Yes, you read it right. Boston and New York are “crappy cities” with outdated stadiums, and Baltimore is a “beautiful city”. Us Bostonians…man we are just itching to get out of this hell that is Boston and this shitty little park called Fenway Park, and get on down to that “beautiful city” of Baltimore.
Maybe the spell check accidentally changed “dangerous” to “beautiful”, dunno.
Now don’t get me wrong, Camden Yards is a beautiful stadium, no argument there. It’s only major downfalls are that it happens to be in Baltimore and that the Orioles play in it.
Anyways, thought these posts were worth a read and a laugh. And if anyone happens to see exiled former Oriole manager Sam Perlozzo wandering around Baltimore, admiring the beauty of the city, be sure and thank him for turning the worst game I have ever seen live, to the best game I have ever seen live.
