Yumdrop.com – All New
My good pal Kyle and friends over at Yumdrop.com, just launched the re-vamped and re-designed site, just in time for Valentine’s day. In the interest of full disclosure, Kyle and I collaborate on several things together, one of which may involve my helping these guys create some more buzz and drive some more traffic to the site…so this post is part random and part calculated. Either way, enjoy the imagery on the site, but depending on where you work, lingerie models may be considered not work safe.
Looks sharp as always, so check it out and get something for your wife or girlfriend (or both) for the upcoming holiday.
Weekly Album – Week #2
Hooray! It’s week 2 in my album a week music repurchasing reawakening extravaganzatron 3000! This week’s album comes from a band whose tracks routinely appear on my Last.fm playlist, and whose album has popped up on several best of ’06 lists, alongside some other albums that I already own and love. It’s Camera Obscura’s Let’s Get Out Of This Country.

Dreamhost
They suck. I don’t feel like getting into all of the boring specifics right now, but after enduring my first few months with Dreamhost (via a non-personal project), I can’t wait to leave them. I know every blogger in the world thinks that they are just the cat’s pajamas, but I for one, think that they stink.
Seriously, don’t get caught up in their touchy-feely ways that make them seem so “real” and so noble, and forget about the one thing you want them to do – not go down, which they can’t seem to do very well. Maybe if they stopped posting stupid photos of themselves getting wasted, and spent some time monitoring things, there wouldn’t be any downtime.
Congratulations, you have a blog that keeps me up to date on the outages. How quaint. It should be empty. If I want to read blogs and have friends, I will read my friend’s blogs. For now, I am going to stay with my blog-less host that just keeps shit running.
