Seems like there was some phantom server load issues on my host, that were supposedly being caused by this site…though it was unclear exactly what it was. Hostgator was kind enough though to take the site down and not really give anyone a chance to troubleshoot, nor did they find it necessary to help point me to where the load strain was originating.
That being said, I can only deduce that it has something to do with WP 2.0 and/or the skin, so we are going to rock it old school for now.
In the meanwhile, if anyone can glean anything from this (log.txt), as to what might be causing the issues, feel free to let me know in the comments. Hostgator basically took the site down, said that things were using a lot of resources, and sent me this and a prayer to “fix it”.

Fuck dude, that blows. I’ve been very disapointed with Hostgator as of late
