Game 6, Nintendo Style

As a Red Sox fan, a Nintendo fan, and as a nerd, I love this. This may be the trifecta that I have been looking for all along. This is technology and new media at it’s finest. Conor over at San Diego Serenade has created a nearly 9 minute, pitch by pitch, perfect re-enactment of the final inning of the famous game 6, with Nintendo’s RBI Baseball, overlayed with the actual Vin Scully audio.

Pure fucking genius. Spread this around high and far, because this is the best thing I have seen on the web in a long time.

On The Road Again

Seems like over the past year, I have been on an airplane headed to a new city almost on a monthly basis. New York, Miami, Las Vegas in January, February, and March respectively so far this year, and now on to San Francisco in two weeks for the April leg of my “12 cities in 12 months” tour. After that, I will make the short hop to Baltimore in May for a clean 5/5 start. Now don’t get me wrong, I love to travel and I love 99.9% of the cities I get to travel to are first rate…but after a while, the whole cab, hotel, airport, airplane, bar, and restaurant scene gets a little tedious. Nevertheless, the march toward some freebies courtesy of Amex and my frequent flier miles carries me on to my next destination.

As part of this travel schedule, I will be at two events later this month where I am hoping to catch up with some old friends and clients, as well as meet some new people that I have only talked to via email, IM, or phone. If you fit into either of these categories, and will be here in Boston for WebmasterWorld/PubCon, or out in San Francisco for AD:Tech, drop me a line and hopefully we can meet up.

My schedule for the two events is as follows:

WebMaster World
– April 18th, 19th, and 20th, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. Booth #306.

Ad:Tech San Fran – April 26th and 27th, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Booth #6372.

Hope to see some of you there.

Inflatable Ben Wallace

I just bought this. Seriously.

At $59.99 shipped, this could be the best purchase of my adult life. Once this arrives, I will post more.
