In case anyone thinks that the News Corp acquisition of MySpace signaled the beginning, middle, and end of the foray into the web and new media for Mr Murdoch, think again. I stumbled across something interesting tonight, that may not even be news, but nonetheless, I found it interesting. It’s called Fox Casting, and it allows you to grab the audio from any or all of your favorite Fox shows, and listen to them in Podcast/Mp3 format. You can even subscribe to the feeds via RSS, so that anytime a new audio file is posted, it comes right to your digital doorstep.

Now I’m not sure how interesting it would be LISTEN to Pam Anderson on Stacked for instance, but I can bet that if you are an American Idol fan, and don’t need the visuals tainting your opinion of who is most talented, getting the Mp3 podcast might be worthwhile. Hell, I can even get down with the idea of listening to the Family Guy audio now and again.
Anyways…the full list of available audio is here, in all of its podcasty glory.

I tried them a while back, apart from the odd special they seemed to be mainly recaps of the episodes.

Hey I just read this article and I also thought it would be a cool thing to catch an episode of Family Guy audio every now and again. My problem is that when I went to the site it seems that although it almost implies that it has the current episodes it really is just a commentary about those episodes (He even attempts to give the Arrested Development ‘Foxcast’ in a Ron Howard esque voice.) So although the concept is cool it still seems like we will have to listen to the audio’s the old fashioned way…

p.s. Great site, great content
