Crash Different

I know this is old, but it is a classic, and I was reminded of it today when someone told me they thought about getting a Mac. I explained what a bad idea that was, but not nearly as effectively as this video does.

    Ah, an oldie but goodie clip. Yes, it’s true, Mac OS X has headaches, as does Windows and pretty much every freaking operating system out there. It’s particularly troubling if you’re a Windows user; you’ve already invested years of training into its UI, which makes switching to the Mac difficult. Pretty much all of his complaints are the same as I have on Windows.

    I do own a Mac, and am still a Windows user. This is because I am more productive on Windows. However, I think this has more to do with having used Windows for years than anything else.

    Being able to rub your wiener against the smooth white case, is not a valid reason to buy a Mac

    How can a graphic designer-abe like yourself hate Macs so much? I’ve had my g4 since 2002 and have never had a problem. Don’t get me wrong – new PCs also kick ass, but something about using Adobe CS on a PC feels wrong.
