We acquired our oh-so-lovable rodent-plus in an open market in Nice France, on the shores of the blue Mediterranean. For 10 euros. I thought that was too much and wasn't going to buy one, but my husband wanted to buy TWO! So we bought ONE. She answers to Farrah Ferret. But my husband was right, we should have bought MORE! The vendor had a whole box of them, and two from that box were playing with each other right in front of us!

When we returned to the States, we decided we wanted more, so we scoured the Web, but all we could find were WILD TAILS! NOT THE SAME!! We didn't know Farrah was a WEASEL BALL!!!

Anyway, it now appears that buying just one in France was the better deal. Yesterday's mail brought the catalog of catalogs! I was sitting there leafing through it, and I turned a page, and there, THERE!, was ... !!! ... OUR CRITTER!!!! HER WHOLE FAMILY!!!! I couldn't help myself, I shouted as soon as I saw the beastie! "Hey, honey, COME HERE! COME HERE NOW!! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST FOUND!!!"

Sooooo .... we've decided to adopt. FOUR MORE! We're filing the paperwork TODAY! But oh, what oh what shall we name them all??

Perhaps they'll tell us.

P.S. Your fine site is a site better than most! LOVE that quote from weaselballs.com. BTW, what's happened to weaselballs.com??? Has it sunk into the sea???
