A Million Little Pieces (Oprah\'s Book Club)

Does anyone else not really care if this book contains embellishments and some outright lies? This is such a non-story to me. Aren’t there more important people, that have a bit more push and pull, telling some more important lies, in some more important arenas? The worst thing I can see happening here, is that Oprah’s book pick track record may contain a tiny blemish now. Whooopdeee fucking doo.

    Yeah, I really don’t give a shit either. I am sick of hearing people freak out about it. I get tired of asking people,”Well was it a good book?” They reply, “Yeah”. Then I ask them why the whole lying thing matters if the book was still good. Usually there is a response along the lines of “Well, on several occaisons he said it was all true blah blah blah.” It doesn’t matter because the words between the covers are the same no matter what the guy says about them. He is probably more excited than upset about all the free press his book has received.
