This has to be some sort of sign of the Apocalypse. Amazon.com now sells sex toys. It’s true. You can now purchase anal beads and plastic vagina’s on Amazon along with a book on how to use them all in harmony. Last week, when I was cruising around Amazon, looking for some things on which to blow $150 in gift certificates, I stumbled upon a category called Sex & Sensuality. I assumed it was simply books, but just to be sure, I clicked. And wouldn’t you know it, there on the screen, staring right back at me, were some pretty crazy items - including everyone’s favorite, the Next Generation Rabbit Pearl Deluxe Wireless Vibrator…for the low low price of $19.99.
One thing that was conspicuously absent, was the “Buy This Item Used” text that sits comfortably beneath most items. Oh well, I suppose that $6.95 for some brand new anal beads, beats $2.99 for some gently (hopefully gently) used anal beads.
And no, I did not buy anything.

Amazon has been in the adult toy biz for almost two years now; Target is also getting into the game but via a new line that Trojan is putting out.

…if you click on the leave a review link it gives you the option to submit a kids review of them, if you’re under 13. clearly Bezos doesn’t want to miss out on any part of the market with a bit of spending power.
