Regardless of whether or not he thinks GW cares about black people, I am an unabashed Kanye West fan. I have all of his music, including College Dropout, his latest album Late Registration, and even Kanye West Sounds, a brilliant mix of West’s music intertwined with new instrumentation and Beach Boys samples.
So needless to say, when I found out that he would be on SNL this past weekend, I made a point to check it out. The performance did not disappoint, with West backed by an all female, mini-orchestra…but the real payoff happened before Kanye even hit the stage. In true SNL form, the show, and the outspoken artist, had a little fun with his latest anti-bush blowup, bringing back Mike Meyers for this great quick skit.
