I love the little MoBlog setup that is happening over on WNL so much, that I have decided to rock it on this very site as well. The setup is simple really, since Flickr allows you to upload photos by email with a unique (albeit hard to remember) email address. To make it even easier, I just layered an email address of my own over the Flickr address, told Flickr to auto-tag all photos uploaded via that address with a specific tag, and then set up a badge which pulled all of the appropriately tagged photos into the moblog page. Voila.
It is off to a screaming start so far, with one odd photo of…well…why don’t you guess in the comments here what is happening in this photo.
Next step is to make sure that my cell plan supports my new found love of phone to net action. If I am not on the right plan, Cingular will likely be treating me like this (link contains not work safe animation) come billing time.

I set this up as well for the novelty — very neat functionality from Flickr. I just wish my life were more interesting day-to-day to merit it. If you set up a moblog, it’s almost like screaming, “I’m important, dammit!” unless you have a lot of picturesque moments going on.
Nice self-photo with the mirror on this one too.
