I clicked on this link off of Noah Brier’s site this morning, thinking it would be some solid entertainment for a minute or so, and ended spending about a half hour reading through nearly every list on the site. Something about these lists that will make you laugh, relate, and make you want to steal the idea of list making.
Fromthe site…
Five private contests (and the standing record for each)
- From how far away can the remote open the garage door? (just around the corner: about 150’)
- How long can I go without losing my Space Pen? (4.5 years)
- How many trays of ice cubes can I make in a day? (8)
- How fast can I drive to Trader Joe’s in Daly City? (11 minutes)
- How long can I go without watching a whole episode of Star Trek? (whole life, to date)

How funny is that site? Speaking of lists, do you read McSweeney’s Lists? (http://mcsweeneys.net/links/lists/ — if you don’t allow HTML)

That spells sives in leet speak. Man I hate that “Numbers in front of the word for the number” thing. Though it does remind me of a Sifil and Ollie episode, which makes me chuckle.
