Hosting Nightmare
You may have noticed that the site has been down for a bit. Apparently our host went belly up and decided not to tell anyone. I will post a much more detailed account of what was what for those interested later this week. For now, it is time to try and backup and restore 30+ sites.
If you hosted a site with me, or I am your “web dude”, shoot me an IM or email and I can give you a status update. Trust me, I am working feverishly to bring everything back up…it is a long process, and I can only do one at a time.
I *hope* to have everything back and live by next week, if not sooner.
Lastly, here is a little background into what went down. Also, Pete and myself covered the overdue datacenter bill here for this deadbeat ($750) to help everyone out. As a result of our out of pocket bail-out job, everyone got data back that was thought to be lost forever. Someone needed to step up and make it right, so we did. Any donations, sent via paypal to pay@fringenetwork.com, to help offset our expenses, would be super appreciated.
