Mass Bay Film Festival

It isn’t often that a truly cool event like this comes to Central Massachusetts and sets up shop in Boston’s ugly stepsister. The Mass Bay Film Festival is the real deal though, and yes…it is taking place in Worcester. And yes it has a crapload of cool films that are actually worth seeing. I really don’t think I could express the importance and scope of this event better than my radio-ball-writing friend Buck Paxton, so here are his exact words…

I’m still sort of having a hard time grasping the hugeness of this. All right here in my little Worcester. Seriously, this is huge and Everybody that lives in this city should give Rob Newton and his crew a very large hug next time they see him. Two frickin weeks of great flicks man!

Impressive is definitely the word here, and if you want to see just how impressive it is, head over to my other good friend’s blog where he outlines the entire schedule. In addition to the entire schedule, he even has movie poster images and links to each movie’s mini-site each of which was created and hosted by his company WhizSpark.

Speaking of both events, and of Whizspark, be sure and check out my new events email list which can be found here. Throw your email in the proper box and hit submit to get the occasional “e-heads up” on local and regional events. I promise to only bring you the good stuff.
