
Is this the tipping point? Are RSS feeds about to tip from tech-geek news tool, to full on commercial advertising tool? According to AdRants, Coupons.com has now thrown it’s top offers into a neat and tidy RSS feed and then wrapped said feed into a cute little toolbar appropriately called CouponBar. The CouponBar will be updated with new offers/coupons frequently, allowing the user to stay constantly abreast of the best deals that Coupons.com has to offer, while providing a very efficient means of distribution to Coupons.com. I don’t know if I am down for installing ANOTHER toolbar, but I like the idea, and it is clear that the wheels are turning fast when it comes to the online ad biz and RSS.

I cannot stand excessive toolbars. I have enough tools to worry about. Love the ggg-gmail btw. Clever. Really.
