While visiting my dad recently, we came across about 50-60 old family photos that date back over 50 years into to the late 1940’s. It was quite an impressive stack and I was really surprised at how well they had held up given their age. The quality of the black and white prints and that old photo paper really is quite impressive. It is no wonder that some famous photographers still choose to shoot their subjects using nearly antique equipment. It really does produce a look that is never quite replicated with modern technology.
